Waterbrook Christian Academy
Located in Davison, Michigan, Waterbrook Christian Academy is a Christian school in Genesee County.
Waterbrook Christian Academy is located at 8031 E. Court St. Davison, MI 48423 and their phone number is (810) 653-9701. They have a web site at www.waterbrookca.org.
I don't maintain the Web site for WCA but my children go there and I can think of no better way to express my faith and trust in the mission of this new school or give my endorsement of it than telling you that. I will accept only the best for my kids... that's right, I am saying that Waterbrook Christian Academy is the best school around! :-)
If you are a parent in Genesee County, Lapeer County or surrounding areas and are looking for a Christian School for your children, my prayer is that you will contact Waterbrook Christian Academy today and find out more about it. Your children will not only receive a world-class education but they will be learning in a safe, loving environment where individual attention is the rule and Christ is exalted. As a Christian parent, I can't think of anything better.
Free Puppet Skits I've Written
Puppet Scripts Archive
By popular demand, the free scripts have returned. All the scripts available here in my puppets section were written by me and are here free for the reading, printing and performing. Check out the popular 10-part Galatians 5 "Fruit of the Spirit" skit series which begins with "Love" and finishes up with a review of the series!
I recently completed a new puppet skit I actually began writing back in 2007. The skit is about the 7 churches mentioned in the Book of Revelation. Each of them is personified by a character who is practicing Christianity after the fashion of their namesake church. If you read it or end up using it for your puppet ministry, I would love to hear what you think about it. It's called Seven Little Christians. I've decided to make it available in both HTML and PDF versions.

Hundreds, nay thousands of books, short stories and poems in various languages are in the Public Domain. Lots of great reading free for all the people. What could be even better for our time-starved lives than classic literature free for the reading? How about all these classic works recorded as MP3s and available free for the listening?! That's what LibriVox.org is all about. I've done a little reading for them and hope to do more.
I recently helped them finish up Foxe's Book of Martyrs Vol 2 just recently. Listening to that as well as Volume 1 has sure been humbling. I hope I am never called to suffer for my faith in Christ and the God of the Bible but if I am I hope I can do so with the dignity and grace of those recorded in Foxe's book. The stories contained in that book will shock and stun you, bring you to tears and make you realize just how good we Christians have it in these United States in the 21st Century. I need to warn you that although this is a book written for and about Christians, it is extremely descriptive about violent acts and pulls no punches when describing the torturous ways in which some of the faithful have been put to death throughout history, (especially in the section of volume 2 which takes place during the reign of Queen Mary in England and the subsequent section about Ireland after the end of her reign.) In other words, please don't listen to either volume 1 or 2 when kids are in earshot and if you are easily upset or disturbed, you may want to steer clear as well.
If you want to hear me read something a little more light, I also read a section of the historical work by Josephus called The Antiquities of the Jews. The section I read was about Moses and his relationship with his wise father-in-law from Moab, Jethro. I've completed a recording for Volume 2 of this as well about the battle with and death of King David's 'son-who-would-be-king,' Absalom.
LibriVox isn't just English language audiobooks, either. They have several different languages represented and the readers are from all over the world. I recently tried a little reading in French of two of La Fontaine's fables. Here is the link to it in case anyone wants to hear me parle un peu de français: Fables de La Fontaine, livre 08
